Matzah Factory

Children harvest the wheat, draw the water and mix, roll and bake their own Matzas at the Jewish Children’s Museum's Matzah Factory.

After delving into the matza's history and examining the special way to prepare the Passover staple through a virtual puppet show, visitors don baker outfits and jump into the action, "harvesting" wheat from a mini field, then threshing and grinding it into flour. They will also “draw” water from a make-shift well and mix, roll and finally bake the matza.

At the Museum, kids have the chance to take home a crunchy piece of Jewish history!
