Celebrating Dreams • 4 Million Visitors
It's the stuff dreams are made of: play, fun, imagination, and a mission to change the world—one child at a time. It's the Jewish Children's Museum—now celebrating 19 years of achievements, inspiring greater possibility, and delivering endless hours of educational entertainment.
Life may be measured in moments, but this year it's a milestone. 19 years ago, the Jewish Children's Museum launched its mission to promote tolerance and cultural acceptance. It channeled the tragedy of 16-year-old Ari Halberstam's murder 30 years ago, by a terrorist on the Brooklyn Bridge, into an eduring objective of adding peace and light into the world. Through its programs, exhibits, and events, the JCM fosters values of acceptance, respect, and broad-mindedness.
This year, we're taking out mission to the next level with a campaign for a new pavilion, showcasing the Jewish people's struggle and triumph, including the history of antisemitism, Jewish resilience, and contributions to world history.
Join us at our 19th Annual Gala Dinner to celebrate this trailblazing endeavor and our 19 years of achievements. Together, let's shine a light on education, peace, and the power of dreams. With your support, we can continue to inspire confidence in children, encourage creativity and play, and build meaningful memories for generations to come.
