The Building Bridges tour introduces students to the origin and history of the Jewish Nation, as well as the Jewish Holidays and traditions. Museum educators will guide students through entertaining and hands-on exhibits, as they experience the learning in an interactive and engaging way. Students will step back in time and meet the first Jew, discover some of the Jewish Holidays and hear about what kept the Jewish people strong, during difficult times in History. Students will discuss what their role is in today’s world and how each one of us, using our unique abilities, can make the world a kind and accepting place for everyone.

Cultural Connections introduces students to a colorful array of customs and traditions in the Jewish culture. Participants will step back in time to meet the very first Jew; shop in a kid-sized kosher supermarket; and play the gumball-pinball charity game. As students examine the roots and basis for many Jewish customs, they will recognize manners of conduct that stand at the root of practices found in the Jewish culture.
